Improving living conditions of disabled Syrians refugees and hosting communities in Lebanon
Satisfy the health needs of the refugee and hosting communities, focusing on people with special needs in the regions of Akkar, Bekaa and Beirut. In this project, our social workers’ team, through home visits and community-based work, assesses most pressing needs to provide beneficiaries with diapers for disabled children and young adults and urostomy bags. Indeed, these items are recurrent and thus needed on a regular basis by beneficiaries. So 51 Syrian refugees and Lebanese will receive basic emergency aid and 28 Syrian refugees and Lebanese suffering chronic diseases (urostomy) will receive basic emergency aid.
